At CREAM Carpentry and Roofing we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in the Mole Valley, Surrey, East and West Sussex and have 25 years’ experience in the industry. As a family-run business, we make it our business to look after the community. With in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
Having any sort of building or maintenance work carried out on your property by strangers can be very daunting and finding trusted tradesmen can be a minefield.
We pride ourselves on customer relations and with our honest, down to earth, and transparent approach we like to think we can take the stress and worry out of any projects you have in mind. Almost all of our work is generated from recommendations from very happy previous and ongoing clients.

We believe that all work should be carried out to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

"I met Terry while he was working on my (attached) neighbour's loft conversion and cheekily asked him " while he was up there" to give my roof the once over to see if it was still in reasonable condition! He did so and said that the main roof was fine but I could potentially have problems with the flat roof as the work seemed quite shoddy. Asked him to give me a quote which he did also recommending that I got another quote or 2 for comparison. I contacted Terry in the new year and asked him to put me in his diary to do the works when the weather improved. I had told him that anytime was convenient as there was easy access to my roof. There was due to be a break in the weather and so with very short notice Terry told me he was turning up to get the roof stripped and made watertight, which he did. They worked through their lunch break and by end of day the flat roof had been replaced, they turned up the next day in the rain to finish off the lead work. The site was left clean & tidy ."

Simon - Image 1 "Absolutely brilliant! Terry and his team at CREAM have just finished creating our loft conversion, crafting a stunning master bedroom. We moved into the room a couple of days ago and to say we're impressed is a serious understatement. My wife and I are in awe at the quality of Terry's work and can't recommend him highly enough. His quote was very reasonable and much lower than some others we were given. Nonetheless he worked tirelessly to keep our build on budget and never once scrimped on the quality. His customer service is also brilliant. As a small business he prides himself on really strong communication with his customers. We found this really professional and helpful as having building work done is always a stressful affair. Terry made it as stress free as possible leading up the build and all the way through. We've had building work done before and this experience was on another level. There is no way we will ever get work done by anyone else. Thank you Terry."

"CREAM are consummate professionals; completely personalised service, so punctual, great communication throughout, on budget and time, unbelievably tidy and nothing was ever too much for them. They used only the best materials and there were no shortcuts to the finish. The guys just turned up everyday and got on with it with absolutely no hassle. Having done an extension to the rear of our property previously, we had approached this task with caution as we had had bad experiences with other tradesmen. If only we found Terry and his team at CREAM sooner! Terry is one of the most genuine, honest and down to earth blokes you will ever come across, he is just an all round nice guy. I cannot recommend Terry and his team enough, he approached everything with the utmost care and attention. Thank you Terry and team, we will always be very grateful. Best wishes Ali family"
