Gianni - Image 1 "Terrible standard of work. The drive was not sanded or compacted at the end of the job so water just seems into the gaps. The director promised to be on site while work was completed. He arrived in the morning for 5 minutes then returned at the end to collect his money. The Acos installed were put in so that they flow away from the drain so the water all pours into our airbrick instead of the drain. They left cement on floor which has now left marks everywhere. they also left the drains full of sand which i had to remove myself. when I spoke to the director he just got very defensive."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. The customer who we worked for had just moved into the property and had a massive problem because the driveway is higher than his damp course and his air bricks. He called us in just to put an echo drain in front of his house, I did explain that we could not go higher on the left-hand side to get the water to go to the right because it would be going too high with his damp course, we did exactly what he asked us to do and put an echo drain system in. When we were there we cleaned off his Paving and where we took the brick edges out to put the aqua drains, we put some sand and vibrated it. We did not lay the driveway so any issues with the level of his driveway and with the height of his driveway is nothing to do with cornerstone paving Ltd. We did ask when we were doing the work for him that ideally it would be better to take up the whole job and redo it but he did not want to outlay that money because he just moved in. What he paid our company to do we have done, and it could not be done any better than what we did it, if there was something that needed repairing, if there was something wrong with the work of course we would repair it straight away. I was on this job from start to finish, we stayed longer and did extra work that we were never supposed to do to try to keep the customer happy. Kind regards Cornerstone paving ltd."

"James and the team at cornerstone are fantastic. If you want to get your driveway done definitely ask them. They delivered on time and were very competitive on price. Some of the reviews talk about their builders etc not having etiquette but thats not our experience at all. The whole team were polite and friendly with excellent quality of work. Our driveway has completely transformed with the new resin drive and it has changed the look of our whole house."
