"I phoned Gareth and he managed to fit me in that week. I have damp in many rooms and thought it was going to cost me a packet. Instead he advised me what needed to be done to improve air flow and temperature control. He pointed out guttering that needed work. He never charged me for his time and said repair just need doing to the outside and that no damp proofing was required. He was very honest and has a good knowledge and experience. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and would use him without hesitation if I require him in the future"

"Spent a good couple of weeks trying to find a local good quality builder before finding Gareth. Stood out immediately because he was the only builder who offered to come out and look and assess the problem in person and discuss it with me there and then. He explains the issues very well and the best way to fix it. The brickwork Gareth and Chris did around my 2 windows was very clean and professional and he went out his way to buy a new window trim rather than fitting the old one and he showed me how and why the old one wouldn't be suitable to go back up. He also took on an extra what should've been small task of stopping a wobble on my front door frame and he gave it an immense good go before showing me why he couldn't do his original plan and offered me the next best alternative. "I was quite worried when we had to find a builder and I lived 100 miles away from the property…. Who do you trust! Well the answer is simple it is ‘Compass Property Renovations (north west)’. From the very first phone call to say I needed help, through the initial inspection of work needed, the quote, the actual work, updates with progression, working tidy, positive conversations when another issue was discovered, and finishing touches. I felt I had total faith and trust in Gareth and his team, we were in safe hands. On top of all that which was worth it’s weight alone , the price quoted was exactly as the final invoice and reasonable."

"Trying to find a company to undertake work can be a minefield. I am very glad I found this company. From the offset I found the team to be very professional as well as helpful. I needed damp-proofing and sought this companies opinion, Gareth whom came to assess my property was very thorough and he talked me through what needed treatment and importantly what did not. I thought I would need more extensive work and was very pleasantly surprised to learn that part of the issue was condensation and not damp, therefore work needed would be less than anticipated. He was very honest which is very refreshing!. I booked his company for the job and found them to be professional, punctual, as clean and tidy as can be given the job!, and they completed the work to a high standard. I am very pleased with their work and would be very happy to recommend with no hesitation - indeed I shall be booking with this company for my next job."
