Looking for a reliable fuel tank specialist? LV Fuel Services is based in Harrogate and covers North Yorkshire and the surrounding area, including York, Leeds and Ripon. Our engineers also work nationwide across England and Wales, with over 20 years' experience behind every job.
Whether your heating oil tank is leaking, full of water or past its best, our engineers can help. We replace ageing tanks, drain and transfer heating oil, clear out redundant heating systems and safely remove diesel, petrol and oil tanks, above ground or underground.
Running a standby generator? Contaminated diesel is one of the most common reasons backup generators fail. We clean generator fuel tanks, polish and filter stored fuel, install or replace generator tanks, and remove old generators for businesses, farms and sites of all sizes.
Compliance comes first. We are a licensed waste carrier and dispose of waste oil, sludge and old tanks through our own certified recycling processes. For homeowners, we advise OFTEC-compliant tank installation where applicable, as it is best practice and often required by insurers. "Scott and his team were outstanding from start to finish. I contacted Scott in a panic on a Sunday evening after discovering a leak in my oil tank. After reviewing some videos I sent, he quickly reassured me and provided clear guidance on how to temporarily stop the leak (who knew soap could be so effective!). Two friendly and professional members of the team arrived and transferred the oil into a temporary container, thoughtfully leaving enough below the crack for us to continue using the heating and hot water system. They then returned to supply and install a new tank, remove the old one, tidy the area, and reset my Signalman monitor. Throughout the entire process, Scott kept me fully informed, explaining each step and regularly checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The service was exceptional from beginning to end, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scott and his team to anyone needing a reliable, professional, and responsive service."

"LV Fuel Services emptied and removed a domestic oil tank. They were able to complete the job within a tight timeframe which was needed. The team were polite and left the area tidy, would highly recommend."
