All our works will be completed to the highest standard, and we do not accept full payment until our customer is 100% satisfied and all work has been signed off. Felt System:
Roofing felt offers one of the original options and modern advances have led to the creation of the 3-layer felt system.

The common substance used in this system is made from bitumen. It is then applied to a fibrous membrane which is typically made of fibreglass, polyester or hessian. A final coating of fire-based sheets is then added on top to help improve the aesthetic appeal.

The 3 layers are as follows::

• 1st Layer – A 3G perforated waterproof membrane
• 2nd Layer – A sanded underlay which is torched-on and bonded to the layer beneath
• 3rd Layer – A fire rated polyester based mineral cap sheet

EPDM Rubber Roofing:
Is one of the most durable forms of roofing systems used for flat roof surfaces. It's also used as a weatherproofing solution. Ethylene and propylene are its two main ingredients which are sourced from natural gas and oil.

The material itself is available in either black or white and comes in a variety of widths, depending on the requirements needed for the installation. EPDM can be installed in three ways:

• Fully Adhered
• Ballasted
• Mechanically Attached.

Either liquid adhesives or special roofing tape is used to seal the seams of the roofing system.

GRP – Fibre Glass Roof:
Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) is comprised of polyester resin and chopped strand mat glass fibres, which are mixed to form a laminate. GRP fibreglass has become one of the most popular forms of flat roofing systems because not only is it a strong material, but doesn’t add too much extra weight to the structure. While it has been around in one form or another since the 40s and 50s, the modern version is far superior and used throughout the construction industry.
