Ben Thomas Building Services is a bricklayer with over 10 years' experience in the building and construction industry. We know that investing in property improvements, conversions and new builds is a significant investment for our customers and pride ourselves on our reputation for providing a trustworthy and efficient service to our customers.
Bricklaying is a craft, and our friendly, experienced team members continually strive for excellence using both traditional and modern techniques to achieve an outstanding finish. Based in Derbyshire, our local bricklayers are fully qualified and insured and work to the highest standards.
Our bricklayers take the time to understand their clients’ needs and budget before embarking on any job. They apply their extensive experience in bricklaying and masonry, aiming to exceed customers’ expectations and achieve a high-quality finish designed to last for generations. We work closely with each customer and are proud of the positive feedback that we receive from our many satisfied customers.

Heather - Image 1 "We approached Ben and Jack after seeing they had made a good job of a neighbour’s front wall, that had a customised design needing attention to detail. For us, they replaced the frontage of our outhouse/workshop from a heavy sliding door to that of brickwork, door and window. The work was not straightforward being a 1930s house. But Ben and Jack managed to match the brickwork bond and render perfectly, and raise a sagging beam to its original position to enable water to drain properly. They always turned up on time, communicated arrangements well, discussed design and progression of the work, and were always pleasant."

"I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional work done by Ben, on both the repointing and brickwork for our extension. From start to finish, he demonstrated professionalism, skill, and attention to detail. The quality of the work is outstanding. Not only was the brickwork meticulously done, but the repointing was completed to a high standard, ensuring that the extension blends seamlessly with the rest of the property. "I needed a brick gatepost replacing after a courier decided to test the strength of his van against it – it was pretty much a draw as both suffered considerable damage! Ben helped by quickly providing me with a quotation for insurance purposes. Once the claim was settled I placed the order for the rebuild with Ben – he did an excellent job demolishing the remains of the existing pier and completing the rebuild. My property was left clean and tidy upon completion. I have further projects in the future requiring masonry and will definitely be involving Ben, and I have no reservations about recommending his services to others."
