"I was having issues with my fridge freezer. The trader told me the compressor wasn't working. As this is a complicated and expensive repair, he advised me to buy a new fridge freezer. He tried to sell me a fridge freezer of around £500-600. A third-party company informed me this was not the case. He told me my fridge freezer has over-iced and simply needed defrosting. It has worked perfectly ever since. I wouldn't recommend Barci Repairs."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed. I have found the job in our system and remember the visit in March. At the time, I explained that the compressor was acting as a poor pumper and advised that replacing it would be the best long-term solution based on the symptoms I found. I understand the appliance started working again afterwards, but that doesn't necessarily mean the compressor wasn't faulty. Compressors can fail intermittently, appearing to work while still not performing correctly. This can result in issues such as overfreezing, which is consistent with the fault I diagnosed. I'd also like to clarify that I did not pressure you into buying a new fridge freezer. After discussing the diagnosis and your options, you asked me to provide replacement quotes, which I was happy to do. I always aim to give honest, professional advice based on the condition of the appliance at the time of inspection."

"Diagnosed problem with fridge immediately. Had part available and had to remove an integrated fridge to mend it. Punctual, very efficient, pleasant and polite. Put fridge back. Looks as before. No mess to clear. Highly recommended."
