Welcome to Barb Carpets Ltd.

We are a professional and established flooring and carpet family business that have been trading for over 38 years. Based in Dunstable, we cover all areas of Herts, Beds and Bucks.

We pride ourselves on a home visit service with no pressure and no commitment to buy. We work to a very high standard and never leave a job until the customer is 100% satisfied.

We cover both commercial and domestic work and we are fully insured, public liability insurance available on request

We can offer the following services, supply and fit or fit only:

  • Carpet tiles
  • Floor levelling,plyboarding or screeding
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Sheet vinyls
  • Samples brought to your home or site

All prices quoted are the complete job price; no unexpected or unpleasant hidden extras.

Carpet Cleaning:

We offer a dry carpet cleaning service, and do not use chemicals. Our service is safe for all pets in the property and there's no need to worry about drying times.

We offer free quotes and estimates.

    "They fitted 3 rooms with carpets. They picked up the carpets from the shop for me, provided underlay and removed the old carpets. They did an excellent job, were very helpful and careful moving furniture as well as clean and tidy. Did a great job would definitely recommend using these guys they're lovely and very professional."

    "Chris came at the time he said he would and fitted a carpet supplied by me to me landing and stairs. He did an excellent job and tidied up before he left. I am very pleased with the end result."

    "Can't recommend Chris enough after he levelled our kitchen floor and fitted Karndean style flooring. He was flexible in options to supply or fit and was incredibly helpful with every decision we had to make. The speediness and quality of the work was incredible, a less than 10 day turnaround since first contact and such great value for money. We're getting more work done by him soon and we also recommended him to the in-laws!"

    "First carpet fitter I've ever had to use, and assuming Chris doesn't throw in the towel , i don't need to find another. Chris was genuinely fantastic. I had a bit of a unique situation where i was renovating my house myself with an immovable deadline due to the wife an i expecting our 4th child in October. The house was in a bit of state and i could only work on one room at a time due to all our stuff, still in boxes, taking up all the space. We had a few fitters come to quote but Chris stood out. He was very understanding of the situation, offered some good advise and from the way he comes across, you feel confident in his abilities and that you will get a high quality of service. We also had a bit of a unique situation with the particular type of carpet we wanted which Chris worked with us on to have delivered and cut in the most efficient way. His efficiency, attention to detail, professionalism, good spirit and extremely competitive rates make Barb Carpets a no brainier. Honestly!"
