At B Batten Carpentry Ltd we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in New Malden for over 17 years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

Diana - Image 1 "Brian did a great job replacing a jammed door caued by water ingress meaning it could no longer be used. This involved removing the old door from the existing door frame, removing the furniture and fitting the new door with all the existing furniture that you can see in the picture. He took time to clearly explain how and why water had gotten into the old door, and what he'd do with the new replacement so it wouldn't happen again. We really appreciated this as we had no idea why the old door had jammed; other tradesmen just turned up to take a look and give us a quote. On the day, Brian arrived on time, was efficient in completing the work and tidied up afterwards both inside and out taking all the rubbish and debris. The way he fitted the new door is much better than the previous installation and we're pleased with the work done so we've invited Brian to quote for some further jobs around the house as good local carpenters are hard to find."

"Brian did a great job fitting a bannister to our stairs. He gave us useful advice, which helped us choose the best option for our needs. His workmanship was very professional and he went the extra mile to finish the job to a very high standard. I would definately use him again without hesitation."
