Josie - Image 1 "We required a wider opening to accommodate our new bi-folding doors, and therefore appointed Hafiz to assess the existing wall. He identified that the wall was load-bearing and proposed a suitable structural beam to provide the necessary support for the new opening. Hafiz was extremely helpful throughout the process and clearly explained all aspects of the work, including the requirements for submission to Building Control."

"The roof at our property showed some signs of deflection, and we wanted to obtain a professional assessment to determine the most appropriate course of action. Our contractor recommended appointing a structural engineer to inspect the roof. Hafiz visited the property and carried out a thorough assessment before recommending a practical and cost-effective structural solution. ishaq - Image 1 "The existing opening between the hallway and the living room was not suitably positioned. Consequently, it was proposed that a new opening be created in a more appropriate location, with the existing opening to be closed off. We therefore required an expert assessment to determine whether the wall was structural or non-structural. In the event that the wall was found to be structural, we also required professional advice regarding the structural works necessary to facilitate the proposed alterations, including the appropriate method of construction and an estimate of the associated costs. Hafiz attended our property to inspect the wall and assess the proposed alterations. Following his inspection, he prepared the necessary structural drawings to create the new opening in the wall."

Hafiz inspected the wall and advised us that it was load-bearing. He clearly explained the structural implications and discussed the proposed structural solution with us, including the associated costs.
