    "We cannot recommend this company. Took the money with no work undertaken. An engineer arrived and left 10 minutes later. Do not pay them a penny."

    "My husband called AHR on 9 Nov and booked an engineer to attend our property on 10 Nov due to no hot water. £80 gone just to put us in touch with an "emergency" engineer. Whilst on site the plumber was able to "resolve" the issue, but only after another £100 later... 6 days later we ended up with no water. My husband called AHR who said the plumber would attend on 17 Nov at 12pm. By 12:15pm no one had arrived. Was told by head office that she'd call the engineer. 45 minutes later, I was still waiting for a call back... Finally get a call back after 1pm to be advised that the plumber would be calling to re-schedule the visit. The plumber calls me 2 hours after the original slot (says All Home Repairs failed to provide him with our address?!). At 5.30pm my husband gets a call from the plumber to say he'll arrive at 9.30pm?!?! Only a meer 9.5 hours after the original agreed appointment time. Hardly what I'd call "emergency" level service."

    "I would not recommend. Charged £180 for a 5 minute phone call when I thought I was paying the engineer to fix my boiler. Also asked for another £180 at end of call which was misleading. When the engineer arrived at my house, he asked for £180 which I had already paid to All Home Repairs. Turned out he was a separate subcontractor and had zero parts to fix my boiler. In short, we were being charged £360 excluding parts!! Stay away from this company as they merely a call centre who will find someone to do the job for you - something you could easily do yourself and save £180. When we tried to discuss this with the trader they were unprofessional, failed to call us back when they promised and hung the phone up on numerous occasions. Incredibly disappointing service and lack of empathy shown by these individuals who seemed quite happy to leave us in the freezing cold all weekend."

We have reviewed this invoice and can confirm that our terms, fees, and service structure were clearly stated within that document. We understand how stressful it can be to deal with boiler issues, especially in cold weather, and we never want any customer to feel unsure about the process or the costs involved. Our goal has always been to offer fast, reliable support with complete clarity, and we take pride in being upfront about how our service works. The vast majority of our customers are extremely happy with our service, our response times, and our pricing.     "The work was done well, and overall it was done to a good standard. However, I was quoted £160 to replace a radiator but the final cost was £440, due a four hour job and an issue identified with my boiler. I can't argue with the work, but as others have mentioned All Home Repairs aren't the trader, they are an agency who connect you to a trader. They should have been more honest about this, especially as the trader didn't turn up all day and had to rearrange for later in the week. In hindsight I should've saved the £80 and just gone direct to a trader. You should definitely do the same."

When the engineer identified an additional issue connected to your boiler and the job required several hours more work, the final cost reflected the additional time and repairs carried out. We are transparent with our pricing, and we always back this up with a clear, itemised invoice that is sent to customers immediately after every booking. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the rearranged appointment — this is not the level of service we want any customer to experience. If you would like us to review the job in more detail or discuss any part of the costs, our management team is available to speak with you directly.
