At AJC Joinery we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers for many years.
As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

"We undertook a major revamp of our 100-year-old house, including an 8m extension built with reclaimed stone, full plumbing, heating, wiring, stone cleaning, flooring, three bathrooms, fencing, and paving—all while preserving and restoring as much of the original character as possible. Alder was flexible and accommodating to every change we requested during the build, and always gave excellent advice when it came to balancing our budget with our requirements. Our project was challenging on many levels, from difficult site access to limitations on equipment and complex delivery logistics, but everything was managed smoothly and completed on budget."

"The work was done for my mother and she was very pleased with the job. Did job of skirting boards on time and at a very competitive price. Did not leave any mess or rubbish and have recommended him to a neighbour to do similar work for them."
