AC&MS Ltd was established in 2003 as an independent asbestos consultancy.
AC&MS Ltd.’s Head Office is based in Essex but the company operates nationwide.
AC&MS Ltd are specialists in all asbestos related issues and able to provide a full range of services which range from:
1. All types of asbestos surveys.
2. Sampling and analysis of suspected asbestos containing materials.
3. Non Licensed asbestos removal and disposal.
4. Licensed asbestos removal and disposal.
5. Air testing and analytical works, including 4 stage clearance tests.
6. Asbestos consultancy.

Since AC&MS Ltd was founded back in 2003, the company has developed from year to year, and continues to successfully deliver Asbestos Consultancy and Management Services, both reactive and planned, to a large client base from both the public and private sectors. Clients include, but are not limited to:-
City Councils, County Councils, the NHS, Large Building Consortiums, Education and College Sites, Banks and Building Societies, Hotels and Leisure Facilities, Churches, Housing Associations, etc, and the general public

Asbestos containing materials that are intact and still in situ are not necessarily harmful; however, the long-term health risks associated with asbestos dust are well known and in extreme cases, can be potentially life-threatening. Before the dangers of asbestos became apparent, the material was commonly used in many commercial and domestic buildings, including garden sheds and garages across the country.
Because asbestos dust is now known to be a carcinogenic substance it requires careful containment, removal and disposal. In order to ensure the safety of people who may be exposed to asbestos dust, strict legal requirements are in place to govern the handling and removal of asbestos.
AC&MS Ltd are affiliated with Atac, Safecontractor, etc, and ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 with the British Assessment Bureau, along with many other affiliations.

Survey was undertaken for bathroom refurbishment, but client also wanted full asbestos management survey to rest of property. Typical ACM, s were found such as AIB (Asbestos Insulation Board) door lining and header panel, textured coated ceilings and asbestos floor tiles.
