    "Having discovered terminal water damage under the floor of my 83 yr old mothers house we needed a reliable local builder quickly. Having moved away from the area 40 years ago I used the Trustatrader and other industry sites to source a firm. John from ABKD responded quickly to my enquiry and visited the site within a couple of days to assess the work needed and reassure my mother. The job was completed within three weeks on budget with minimal fuss. John insisted on keeping me updated on progress at the end of each working day because of my mothers age and position which was thoughtful. We would definately use the company again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others in respect of timeliness, quality of work, value and overall customer service."

    "I tendered a package of works to ABKD and John and the team were on site the next day to inspect the works and develop their quote. Considerable range of work undertaken for refurbishment job including new WC under stairs, new kitchen installed, new bathroom, new flooring throughout, Artex stripped and walls replastered, roof repairs made and existing structure reinforced. All works were undertaken in a professional and tidy manner, with progress reports and site photos being emailed over to keep me up to date with the progress on site while I was away. Excellent construction knowledge all round and problem solving abilities of John and the team are second to none, resulting in a refurbishment job which came in on time to requirements. Friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with, I would not hesitate to contact ABKD for any future works which may need doing. Very happy."

    "Can't recommend John and the team highly enough. Being a bit clueless when it comes to building works, our initial chat involved us explaining that we'd seen some pictures on Pinterest and we'd like something similar built in our garden. Our ask was "we want an outdoor bar, with pizza oven, bbq, grill, internet enabled TV, etc etc". John and the entire team spent several hours with us discussing ideas and options and then went away and came up with some designs. John's proposal was that the build would take place in three phases which gave us the flexibility to change our minds on the details as the build progressed. The results speak for themselves with an amazing space created. We'll certainly be using them for all our future needs, always on time, do exactly what they say they will and the quality of the work was far beyond our expectations. They even looked after our dogs for us during the day when we weren't there! Their five star rating is fully deserved."
