We are not structural engineers but work hand in hand with one. We would survey the work required and provide a report of our findings together with the quotation. If necessary call upon the structural engineer to provide an extensive engineering report.
We are structural repair specialists of all major structural materials, including Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber. We are based in Stalybridge.
A Improvements believe that the most important decisions to be made in the structural design of a building is to ensure that the final structural solution adopted meets the needs of the brief and architectural aspirations, as well as being a cost-effective structure.

"The job was to replace a decaying concrete lintel above the lounge window, remove and repoint surrounding external brickwork, support ceiling and do internal plastering. All work was carried out to a very high standard and everything cleaned up at the end of the job and all rubble and rubbish taken away. The workmen were professional, helpful, polite and friendly. The work to be completed was explained to us at the start of each day. They worked from 9 till 4 continuously for 3 days and were always happy to answer any questions we had. The level of communication was excellent from both the workers and the lady in their office who was understanding of our needs and that of my elderly mother whose house was being repaired. The company is blessed with highly skilled professionals who are hard working, honest and trustworthy. We were very satisfied with the completed work and highly recommend this company for building repair work."
