"I had my hallway, stairs, ceiling and landing painted along with woodwork sanded and satinwood gloss. Douglas was a pleasure to deal with. Communication was brilliant and he arrived on time on the day we agreed. Myself and my girlfriend were very very happy with his work! He has done a fantastic job! "I contacted Douglas after seeing reviews for his work on this site. He was very easy to get in touch with and was not only friendly & helpful during our first phone call, but made time to understand my requirements etc. Following his visit to assess the work I had requested he forwarded a quote very quickly and then carried out the work less than a week later. Douglas decorated our rental property to an excellent standard which will allow future rental without concerns about the decor. He approximated 1-2 days for the work to be completed however he managed to finish the job in less than a day. I felt his charge for work carried out was very fair indeed, especially when taking into account how quickly he did it. I would highly recommend Douglas/A Edwards and son to anyone looking for painting and decorating work."
