Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA)

The Floor Industry Training Association (FITA) offers approved qualifications and training courses for domestic and commercial floor installers. The range of courses devised by FITA include basic and intermediate carpet fitting, subfloor preparation, linoleum installation, and sheet vinyl installation, as well as full training on accurate measuring, planning and quotations. Each qualified FITA member has passed relevant exams and practical assessments that attest their skills and knowledge in their area of floor fitting.
