Electrical Safety First

At Trust A Trader, we continually strive to improve our customers’ awareness of the pitfalls of rogue traders and how to choose a trader they can trust. Our customers’ safety is at the core of the work we do, which is why we encourage the traders registered in our directory to work closely with independent, industry-specific organisations who promote best practice and high standards, such as electrical Safety first.
In 2014, the registered charity Electrical Safety Council, was renamed Electrical Safety First, in order to reflect the electrical Safety Council’s core purpose of campaigning for electrical safety. Electrical Safety First works within all areas of the United Kingdom, highlighting the importance of electrical safety by working closely with trade organisations, the government and consumers alike.
Together with the ECA, Electrical Safety First have created a not for profit register, the Electrical Safety Register, to help people find reliable electricians with total peace of mind. When you choose an electrician on Trust A Trader who is registered with Electrical Safety First or listed in their Safety register, you know you are selecting a professional who works with integrity, skill, and to high standards.
