BETA The British Equestrian Trade Association

At Trust A Trader, we help thousands of customers around the UK to help them to find traders and services that they can rely on. Our traders cover a broad spectrum of trades and areas of expertise, including equestrian services. In order to promote best practice and encourage the finest quality in the equestrian world, we encourage equestrian practitioners in our directory to register with BETA, the British Equestrian Trade Association.

Formed in 1979, BETA is now widely accepted as the official body for the regulation of the manufacturing, wholesale and retail equestrian trade. Today, BETA has more than 800 members, which comprise of retailers and wholesalers as well as agents, dealers and tradespeople. Through its work, the BETA raises awareness of best practice and offers training to people who operate within the equestrian sphere.

Whilst, at Trust A Trader, we do our utmost to ensure that all of the local tradespeople list in our directory pass our vetting process, we emphasise to our registered traders the importance of industry-specific accreditation. That’s why we encourage all of the equestrian service providers listed on Trust A Trader to become members of BETA.
