Well, what a year it has been! Who would have thought that as we saw in a new decade, that the start of the ‘20s would bring such troubles?
This has been an incredibly challenging year for our traders and their customers. People have had to juggle ever-changing rules, reduced income and potentially devastating health concerns. Trust A Trader was established to help support traders and their customers by building a strong community of people who trust each other and work with each other to deliver a great service. We have been incredibly proud to see everyone pulling together in these challenging times. From delivering emergency services to people in need through lockdown, to providing vital support to individuals facing their own challenges, our traders have shown that they are at the heart of their community, and that they always put their customers first.
We have been delighted to see our community growing from strength to strength, gathering a strong following across social media platforms and providing local people with help to find honest local traders that they know they can trust. The figures have spoken for themselves, with more than half a million searches from homeowners and businesses looking for the right trader – every month. And most traders scoring the maximum 5 stars from happy customers, it is no wonder that Trust A Trader continues to be a go-to online directory.
It is fair to say that as a community of tradespeople we have demonstrated our professionalism and resilience through our hard work and perseverance in the most challenging times. We have worn masks, kept our distance, opened windows and continued to provide essential services to people who needed them most. And to top it all off, our hardworking traders have helped us to raise over £3,000 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
