Drain Teq Ltd is a professional company with over 40 years of experience in the trade. We are based in Bishops Stortford and cover Hertfordshre, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Middlesex, Kent and London.

We deal with all aspects of drain work, from unblocks and CCTV, to pre-purchase house inspections and full site surveys with wincam reports.

We also carry out drain look see checks due to vermin problems and we install / maintain stainless rat stoppers.

Our engineers are your one-stop-shop for the repair of any defects your drains my have,including:

  • Collapsed drains
  • Root damage

  • Displaced pipes due to ground movement etc
  • Deformed pitch fibre pipe

Drain Teq Ltd provides a Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 drainage service to clear blockages using rods, high pressure water jetting equipment and electro-mechanical machinery. We also carry out CCTV surveys to investigate the cause of any persistent problems which will enable us to provide a quotation to repair any defects identified.

We also offer our Preventative Maintenance Package, which is a service we provide to reduce the possibility of blockages occurring. These works include:

    "Chris was good to communicate the availability to unblock a waste drain, as well as the costs for work being done. Chris turned-up at the time stated and explained each step of the various devices and methods being used to unblock the drain. It turned out that we had a mass of roots that had grown into the toilet waste pipe and this turned out to require multiple tools to remove and clear. Chris never gave up and kept persisting to ensure that the drain was fully cleared. And Chris is a friendly, professional individual. I highly recommend using Drain Teq Ltd to unblock your drains. 5 ***** Stars"

    "Drain Teq came highly recommended by a colleague. Can't praise Chris highly enough. In no time at all our blocked toilet was cleared and back in action. Very professional and lovely person. So nice to find a trustworthy company."

    "Chris manages my drains once a year he does a clean and we now have no problems. Today i made a call to ask for his help as their was a smell under my sink. Its been there since we had the extension built. Within 1 min he looked at the undersink plumbing and said … you need a plumber. The pipes were very badly installed by another builder in Letchworth. Chris didnt want to charge me as he said it was nearby . I have never had anyone turn up and not charge me. Thank you Chris for your help and kindness."

    "Cleared a mixture of tile grout and limescale from underground drainage. Work was absolutely done in a text book manner. Chris suggested his next move and asked whether i agreed to it - not pushy at all. I can seldom say this but I would have no hesitation to recommend Drain Teq - Ray in the office and Chris on site - both completely trustworthy."
