Green Deal approved installers have been approved by the Green Deal oversight and Registration Body (GD ORB). The GD ORB manages Green Deal membership on behalf of the Secretary of State. The organisation is responsible for registering and overseeing Green Deal Participants, including certification bodies, providers, assessors and Green Deal approved installers. Once a participant gains membership, the GD ORB monitors them to make sure they adhere to the Green Deal Code of Practice, gathering evidence of non-compliance and, if necessary, referring members to the Secretary of State or Ombudsman if the Code is not met.
