At Trust A Trader we are committed to encouraging high standards and best practice across all trade industries, helping our customers to find local traders that they can trust. As well as checking each trader before it is listed in our directory, we support and encourage our listed traders to register with industry-specific professional bodies, to help them stay abreast of legislation requirements and advances in best practice.

Once such professional body is the British Safety Industry Federation. The BSiF was established in 1994 to promote essential health and safety standards. They are now the lead association for the Personal Protective Equipment Directive (PPE) and are recognised as a Competent Authority by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). Today, the British Safety Industry Federation has forged links with over 130 Trade Bodies and have 160 members, including distributors and manufacturers of safety products, test houses, certification bodies and safety industry professionals.

BSiF members are recognised as working within the guidelines of the federation, to promote health and safety in the workplace and beyond; if you choose a trader on Trust A Trader that is BSiF registered, you know you will be in safe hands.
