Natas join the Health and Safety Executive's 'Hidden Killer' campaign by pledging free Asbestos Awareness eLearning courses, including Polish, Russian and Romanian translations, as part of the HSE's Asbestos Training pledge taking place this Autumn.
As members of ASHeLA; the Asbestos Safety, Health and Environmental eLearning Association, Natas are proud to join with other training organisations to support the HSE training initiative.
ASHeLA members are offering over 5000 hours worth of free Asbestos Awareness eLearning courses that provide on-demand, comprehensive ASHeLA-certified Asbestos Awareness training in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.
The normal cost of each Asbestos Awareness eLearning course would be £49.95 plus VAT. Each week during the 4-week pledging period from 5th September 2011 ASHEeLA members pledged 20 free courses per day in recognition of the approximate 20 tradesmen who die each week from asbestos-related disease. Overall ASHeLA achieved over 4000 hours of free training in recognition of the current asbestos death toll of over 4000 lives.
Courses are limited each week and must be requested by completing and submitting the request form to ASHeLA (do not send to the HSE or the member organisation directly). ASHeLA will contact you over the 8 week delivery period which commenced on 3rd October 2011. Allocation is made weekly on a first come, first served basis.
